Vsevolod S. Perelman, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.D., C.C.F.P.(EM)

President and Chairman of the Board

A graduate of Medicine and a Master of Science from the University of Toronto, Dr. Perelman's expertise lies primarily in the areas of biomedical research and administration. He trained in Family Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Perelman is a Staff Emergency Physician at the Schwartz/Reisman Emergency Centre at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He holds an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Perelman has developed substantial research skills ranging from basic science projects to qualitative and quantitative analyses and multicenter clinical trials. Dr. Perelman's work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals including the "Annals of Emergency Medicine", the "Canadian Journal of Clinical Pharmacology", and the "Journal of Clinical and Investigative Medicine". He was the recipient of the Canadian National Research Award, the North York General Hospital award for leadership in Family Medicine, and he has won several prizes in surgery, physiology and philosophy.

Dr. Perelman brings significant experience and expertise in medical informatics and health care management.

Robert D. Horvath, M.D.,C.C.F.P.,F.C.F.P.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Horvath has practiced Family and Emergency Medicine since 1982. An Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine of the University of Toronto, Dr. Horvath teaches students in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.  He was recently awarded an honorary Fellowship in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Dr. Horvath has worked in several administrative positions in the departments of Family and Emergency Medicine, North York General Hospital, and served on many committees especially in the Information Services area. He has been the Medical Advisor and lead physician for a number of information system implementations.  Dr. Horvath has advised the Ontario Medical Association Primary Care Reform Group and the Ontario Ministry of Health Project Management Office regarding Information Technology, and has provided consulting services with regard to Health Informatics to several groups and companies, most recently PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Dr. Horvath regularly gives lectures and presentations on Information Technology applications and advances in Health Care.

Kiril Nagorny, MSc

Mr. Nagorny is a graduate of one of the most renowned Russian Universities - "Moscow Physical Engineering Institute". There he received a Masters of Science in Nuclear Physics. After many years of work in academic sciences, dealing with the computer automation of physical experiments, he immigrated to Canada where he has held a number of positions in the professional service automation field. In addition to his expertise in software architecture and database design, he has significant managerial experience.
